Structure

The Pasteur pipette mainly consists of the pipette body, pipette tip, bulb, and graduated area.

  • Body: Slim and flexible, facilitating insertion into centrifuge tubes, test tubes, culture vessels, and other small-diameter containers.
  • Pipette Tip: The front end is finer, allowing controlled uptake and dispensing of liquids, suitable for small-volume liquid transfer.
  • Bulb: Integrated with the pipette body, enabling liquid uptake and discharge by squeezing and releasing, without the need for an additional suction bulb.
  • Graduated Area: Some specifications feature clear graduations to facilitate approximate judgment of the transferred liquid volume.

Features
  • Smooth aspiration and dispensing. The tube body rebounds steadily, enabling liquid uptake and dispensing with light pressure, suitable for high-frequency liquid transfer operations.
  • Controllable dropwise dispensing. The fine pipette tip provides more focused liquid delivery, facilitating small reagent additions and dropwise operations.
