SAMPLE STORAGE CONSUMABLES

Disposable Centrifuge Tubes for Sample Separation and Storage

Disposable centrifuge tubes are laboratory consumables used for sample centrifugation, separation, sediment collection, sample preparation, aliquoting, and short-term storage. The tube bodies are typically made of transparent polypropylene (PP), and the caps are made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), offering good transparency, chemical resistance, and centrifugation strength. The products are available in 15 mL, 50 mL, and 100 mL specifications, with various cap types, bottom types, sterilization methods, and packaging options to suit different sample volumes, centrifugation conditions, and experimental operation needs.

Type

Disposable centrifuge tubes can be selected based on capacity, cap type, and bottom type, enabling compatibility with different sample volumes, centrifugation conditions, rotor configurations, and operating preferences.

  • By capacity: Available in 15 mL, 50 mL, and 100 mL sizes, suitable for routine sample centrifugation, cell collection, sediment separation, sample aliquoting, and short-term storage.
  • By cap type: They are classified into flat cap centrifuge tubes and sealed cap centrifuge tubes. The flat cap design allows easy opening and is suitable for routine laboratory procedures; The sealed cap design helps improve sealing stability and reduces the risk of leakage during centrifugation or sample preservation.
  • By bottom type: They are divided into conical bottom, self-standing bottom, and round bottom. The conical bottom facilitates sediment concentration and sample recovery; the self-standing bottom allows stable placement on the laboratory bench; the round bottom is suitable for some large-capacity sample processing scenarios.
